Abstract

Sitting before a school board interviewing for the position of superintendent can be a daunting task for a candidate. A myriad of questions pervades the candidate's thoughts. What is the board seeking in a leader? Do I have the professional skills and personal attributes necessary to lead this organization? What did the board and the search consultant perceive in my application that led to being afforded an interview for the position?
